Thuis heb ik de tweede slof gevilt op mijn eigen manier (zie de foto).
At the course in Gouda we wet felted one slipper. We did that in a way that was not familiar to me. We put the wool around the pattern totally dry. And while doing that, we pushed the wool together very carefully. It didn't feel nice, because my hands are like sandpaper. I had tiny peaces of wool hanging on my hands all the time. And I couldn't get the wool tight around the pattern, so I got a wrinkle around my slipper. When we started using water, I had to work hard to get rid of the wrinkle.
At home I made a second slipper in my own way (see the photo).
I did find out that the inside of the first slipper was better felted than the inside of the second slipper. So the dry way does have an advantage...
